GOAT Generation Ltd. Is trilled to join over 25,000 executive leaders, start-up mavericks and industry disrupters in Toronto May 20-23 for the Collision conference, where GOAT, Canada’s most innovative food sharing app, officially launched its digital platform that keeps food waste out of our overstuffed landfills.

Collision connects emerging companies like Goat with industry and investors looking to support and grow the evolving world of technology linking over 3700 CEOs, from over 120 countries, with speakers from the globe’s most ground-breaking tech businesses. Offering over 500 speakers and 17 different conference tracks, speakers come from around the globe and include Microsoft, Sonos, Recode, Electronic Arts and Medium.

GOAT is a Calgary upstart that is an innovator and change maker that merges both technology and vision to focus on doing good things for our planet. GOAT founders and executives were invited to attend and participate on a panel of other industry disrupters.

GOAT’s unique app enables meal sharing by connecting Calgary food sharers (Goaters), with hungry food recipients (Goatees), through its dynamic, interactive app that links communities and promotes sustainability by facilitating the concept of ‘Share_Eat_Repeat.’

By downloading the GOAT app, sharers can post the meal they are donating, prepare and package in recyclable /compostable packaging provide by GOAT; connect with the Goatee to arrange a pick-up time and  the Goatee, in exchange for the delicious home-cooked meal, will make a donation to the Goaters designated charity. Satisfying hunger, building community connections, supporting conservation. Food excess is a global problem with 1/3 of all food produced for consumption wasted, the issue has financial implications – costing $680 billion, and environmental impacts – with land filled organic matter creating methane gas which is 25x more damaging to the environment than carbon dioxide. GOAT Generation brings people together to achieve something extraordinary…one recovered meal at a time.
